Getting Started

Point Plus POS includes a multi-tenant e-commerce platform. Each merchant gets their own branded storefront with automatic inventory sync from the POS system.

✅ Included in Standard Plan: Online store is included with Standard and Enterprise plans. No additional monthly fees.

Store Setup Wizard

Step 1: Branding

  1. Access your store setup wizard (link provided via email after registration)
  2. Upload store logo (recommended: 200x60px PNG)
  3. Upload banner image (recommended: 1920x400px)
  4. Choose your unique store URL slug (e.g., "crescent-pool-supply")
  5. Your store will be at: /store/your-slug

Step 2: Theme Customization

  1. Select primary color (brand color for buttons, links)
  2. Select secondary color (accents, highlights)
  3. Write store description (appears on homepage)
  4. Add business hours, contact info, location
  5. Preview changes in real-time

Step 3: Payment Configuration

Configure payment processing for online orders. See Processing Fees Guide for NMI setup.

Step 4: Inventory Sync

Choose how POS inventory syncs to online store:

  • Unified Stock: POS and online share same inventory (real-time sync)
  • Reserve Percentage: Allocate % of POS stock to online (e.g., 30% online, 70% in-store)
  • Separate Stock: Maintain independent inventory counts

💡 Recommendation: Use Unified Stock for small businesses. Use Reserve Percentage for businesses with high in-store demand.

Real-Time Inventory Sync

Point Plus POS automatically syncs ALL inventory changes from POS to online store in real-time:

Order Management

Online orders appear at /orders alongside in-store sales:

  3. Order appears in POS orders dashboard
  4. Staff picks and packs items

  6. Customer receives tracking number email
  7. Inventory automatically decremented

Launching Your Store

Pre-Launch Checklist
